We are PASSIONATE about artists and helping the next generation develop their passion for the arts here at Prismacolor and after learning about the Chicago-based program,  After School Matters and Gallery 37 last year, Prismacolor has excitedly teamed up with the charitable organization and had the pleasure of attending their Citywide Showcase at the Chicago Theater last Wednesday!

I recently had the amazing opportunity to hit the road and head to Austin, TX for the  interactive portion of the 2012 SXSW festival as the representive of my beloved brand and rub elbows with some blogging and interactive big shots. 3-D street art has been around for ages but has recently begun to gain increasing notoriety outside of the sidewalks where they delight and amaze onlookers. Thanks to the wonders of the world wide web  this art form and the talented individuals who create it are now becoming internet and global sensations!

Recently, with the help of Reebok, the Guinness World record for largest 3D Painting was set by  artist, Joe Hill, to create this behemoth of a painting in London’s Canary Wharf.
