The Sketchbook Project is a traveling library of original sketchbooks, bringing the work of thousands of creative professionals to art aficionados and enthusiasts in 15 cities around the world.  The 2012 World Tour, brought to you by Brooklyn-based Art House Co-Op and Prismacolor, invites art lovers to peruse these unique works from talented artists while experiencing Prismacolor’s new Brush Tip Markers!

Industrial designer JD Orr, is not only an  incredibly talented and successful designer but he also happens to be the man behind the amazing new art featured on the Prismacolor Art Marker packaging! This awesomely energetic individual will inspire you to bust down the door of creativity and then start looking for another one!

Prismacolor is excited to announce the release of 18 NEW colors,  including some discontinued fan favorites, revived and refreshed for 2011! These additions to the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil family will round out our set to 150 different colors.

Prismacolor graces the pages of Wallpaper Magazine’s Handmade Issue

Each year Wallpaper Magazine gathers the best in design, interior design, fashion, art, and lifestyle and features them in this collective book of Wallpaper whimsy for the Handmade edition.

For the August 2011 edition,  artist Joanna Grawunder had the unique opportunity to create a custom set of Prismacolor colored pencils in a suitably fabulous custom tin for this year’s edition of Wallpaper Magazine’s Handmade issue.  

Prismacolor Artist, Raul Maldonado of Hanover Park, IL, is showing off his work in Chicago’s, The Daily Herald and talking about the latest success of his show, “Esta Chido Todo”  and his journey through the gallery doors.

F rom Fast Company’s May issue, in “Tools of My Trade,” famed architectural designer, Steve Weindel lists Prismacolor colored pencils as one of his top tools! The principal designer at architecture giant, Gensler, always has Prismacolor colored pencils on hand, despite having advanced computer programs available. “There’s nothing like them,” he says. Weindel emphasized how much his clients appreciate the hand-drawn designs, including his latest project, San Francisco International Airport’s newly renovated Terminal 2, which opened in April.
